Same picture on two media


I have all my pictures on a NAS but some of the pictures I also have on my labtop. I set category and keywords in the NAS-stored pictures. How do I use that information when I am not connected to NAS but I have the picture in the computer?

I mean be able to use the keyword even if I am not connected to NAS as I also have some of the pictures on my computer´s harddisc. All the keyword was set when I was connected to the NAS.

You can assign any tags to images even if they are offline at the moment. When you then connect your NAS you can sync your changes back into the files. The only minor issue with current Daminion version is the thumbnail will become broken for offline file, but you can then regenerate it easily.
