File preview not updated
I'm still learning, have noticed two issues yesterday.
A. Highlight a thumbnail, right-click, select Properties (Ctrl+D) - cursor and focus goes to People field in Description pane (right side). Is this correct?
B. Do the following:
- Put any jpg into catalog
- Double click to see the larger view, Daminion renders the file. Esc to go back to thumbnail view
- Right-click on the thumbnail, use Open with and edit the file. Crop heavily or exaggerate somehow so as to make the problem evident.
- Save the edited file in the same folder. Overwrite the original.
- Back to Daminion, rescan folder -- does not update thumbnail. Use Update thumbnail (Ctrl+B) -- does not work either. The old thumbnail remains. (No problem, you’ve promised to rewrite the whole rescan feature. Will wait.)
But now the ta-da comes:
Double click the (old) thumbnail to see edited file. Nope, the preview shows file before it was edited. I have to close and re-open the catalog, then the changes are visible. Why? How do I tell Daminion to show the new file version?
