Version Control

When two or more employees work with the same document, it’s easy to replace a new document version with an old one and end up losing two weeks of hard work. Version control gives your team a project-wide “undo-redo” button; any mistake is easily rolled back

To get exclusive rights to edit a document user must to check it out. Although one file might have multiple versions, but Daminion will display only the latest one. Access to Version Control options is available from context or main menu as well as from a special button on the thumbnail (left top corner).
