The Problem
Before Daminion, Enerfin tried using a few
different applications to store and categorize
their files. But because the team used different
operating systems (Windows and Mac) they
were finding it very hard to create a centralized
repository that could be accessed by everyone
on the team.
They had also tried switching to Google service Picasa to create
a centralized library of assets but its folder-based structure did
not support quick search. That is why they decided to start
looking for a DAM system to manage their database.

How Daminion Helped Us
As Enerfín needed to create a centralized repository with extended searching functionality, they knew it would be efficient if they had access to their archive through different devices in order to instantly find files.
They use Daminion company-wide to retrieve keynotes and photos to prepare presentations in timely manner and share digital assets with colleagues from different departments.
With Daminion they also solve an issue with duplicates that different departments used to store in their own folders as they were unable to find the asset on the shared drive.

Enerfin have created their own protocols and
guidelines for working with Daminion. They have an
admin who is solely responsible for uploading files
onto the software.
