Before implementing Daminion, Enerfín had tested several different tools for organizing their media library. However, maintaining a single shared archive proved difficult because the team worked across Windows and macOS, which made synchronization unreliable.
They later tried using Google Picasa as a central photo library, but its folder-based structure lacked proper search functionality and visibility across devices.
The team needed a solution that supported cross-platform access, allowed fast and accurate search, and reduced duplication between departments.

We needed something more accessible, so we tried Picasa. But we soon realized that it wasn’t meeting our needs — we could only see files that we had on our own computers. So, we started looking for a more powerful system.

With Daminion, Enerfín built a centralized repository where employees can instantly access, search, and share digital assets — regardless of which operating system or device they use.
Now, key visuals, keynote files, and photos can be retrieved in seconds and reused across departments to prepare presentations, reports, and marketing materials on tight deadlines.
The company also eliminated one of its biggest workflow issues — duplicate storage across departmental folders. Daminion ensures everyone works with the same up-to-date version of each asset.
To keep the system organized, Enerfín established internal protocols for uploading and tagging files. A designated admin oversees file imports and metadata consistency across the archive.
