Daminion Server 11.0

Please ensure your environment meets the System Requirements prior to server installation

Daminion Server is a lightweight digital asset management solution. It allows your organization to create a centralized media repository that can be accessed by multiple users from multiple computers simultaneously. 
 
Client Options
Access to Daminion Server is provided via two types of clients:
  • Web Client: It becomes available shortly after the server starts at: http://localhost/daminion.
  • Windows Client: A native application installed automatically during the server installation.
 
Standalone Installation
If needed, a standalone Windows installer is located locally at:📁 Daminion Software\Daminion Server\Client

Features
  • AzureMaps: Integrated AzureMaps.
  • Version Update: Allowed loading a new version without a checkout.
  • Web AI Tagging: Added notifications when sending items for AI tagging.
  • Video Tagging View: Added a view button for video tagging when transcripts become available.
Bugfixes
  • Video DM Converter: Fixed an issue where the DM converter stopped scanning configs and directories for new files.
  • Statistics Bugfix: Made statistics accessible when selecting within a tag, not just between tags.
  • AI Audio Fix: Resolved a zero-division error caused by incorrect bitrate reading on short audio files.
  • Vision Model Update: Removed the Google Vision trial key reference. Switched the default model from Google to OpenAI when configuration parameters are missing.
  • CVIS AI Tagging: Fixed a serialization bug after library updates that broke hierarchical AI tagging for custom structures.

Face Recognition Pack

The server version must be at least 10.5 as critical changes have occurred.
Do not install the module separately on older versions of Daminion

Daminion Face Recognition allows you to quickly recognize faces in a photo and avoid hours of tedious manual tagging.

To activate Face Recognition, open the Daminion Server Administration panel, click on the “Administration” tab, select “Preferences” and navigate to “Face Recognition”
